Early Life
Robin Dey was born on 18 March 1922 in Nazira, located in present-day Sivasagar district of Assam, into a Bengali family. Although Bengali was his mother tongue, he developed a deep love for the Assamese language and chose to write almost all of his literary works in Assamese.
