How to Reach Agyathuri Picnic Spot
The spot is located in Agyathuri, Amingaon, near Saraighat Bridge, approximately 15 km from parts of Guwahati, depending on the starting point. Visitors can travel by road from Guwahati towards Jalukbari and continue across or around the Saraighat area towards Amingaon. Travel time depends on traffic and the chosen route.
Best Time to Visit
The cooler months from October to March are generally comfortable for outdoor visits. Morning and late afternoon are suitable for enjoying the surroundings without the strongest midday heat. Stay well away from unstable riverbanks, supervise children closely and avoid entering the river, especially during periods of strong currents or rising water levels.
