The journey from Guwahati generally involves travelling along NH 27 towards Sonapur or Khetri before taking a local road towards the waterfall. The final stretch passes through a scenic valley and includes a short walk or trek over rocks and uneven terrain. The waterfall usually becomes more attractive when rainfall increases the stream's flow, although wet weather can also make the rocks very slippery.
