Detailed Notes
Under this support-driven initiative, eligible graduates receive Rs. 2,500 per month for 12 months, amounting to Rs. 30,000 annually, directly transferred to their bank accounts. The government clarifies that this is not an unemployment allowance, but a motivational assistance that empowers graduates to continue skill development, higher studies, or entrepreneurship without financial stress.
The scheme is managed by the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, and applications are accepted exclusively through the official DIDS Portal (dids.assam.gov.in). Verification is done at both the institution and departmental levels to ensure transparency and fairness.
