The Chutiya Kingdom Was Conquered By Whom In Assam?

The Chutiya Kingdom in Assam was conquered by the Ahom dynasty. During the reign of Ahom king Suhungmung (1497–1539 AD), the Ahoms launched several successful military campaigns against the Chutiyas. By 1523 AD, the Chutiya kingdom was fully annexed into the Ahom territory, marking a major expansion of Ahom power in upper Assam.
