Mathanguri Forest Lodge at Manas National Park Forest

It is a 127 year old bunglow and probably the oldest Heritage property in the Assam. This is the place where 3 presidents of india have stayed. Our first Prime Minister Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru also have visited this place. A night’s stay at this forest bungalow  the most preferred tourist spot in Manas, could be as exhilarating an experience as one can hope to get in any jungle. The roar of the gushing River Manas  bifurcates into two channels just below the bungalow atop the hillock, and the vast expanses of the Bhutan hills providing the backdrop, it is a true Eden where you can feel your senses opening up to the loveliness and the wonders of the world of nature.
