The pen name “Sheelabhadra” is used by the celebrated Assamese writer Rebati Mohan Dutta Choudhury (1924–2008), a distinguished litterateur, educator, and Sahitya Akademi Awardee
His writing reflects deep insights into Assamese life, memory, and culture. As an academic, he served in leading colleges and was honored with several awards, including the Assam Valley Literary Award in 2001.
